Overview

Administration → Cloud & Billing (master admin only) shows where Property360 runs and what keeps it working. Nothing on this page changes your cloud setup: it reads status and opens the Google Cloud console in a new tab. Opening a console page needs access to the Google Cloud project.

What the page shows

  • Google Cloud deployment — the project, region, website and API addresses.
  • Server activity — how long the API was serving, idle or asleep, and how many cold starts it had.
  • Database — the Postgres database, its plan and usage against the free-tier limits.
  • Google Cloud services — one tile per service Property360 uses, each with what it is used for, the resource names and an Open in Google Cloud button:
    • Cloud Run runs the API and the website.
    • Cloud Build builds and deploys every push to the main branch.
    • Artifact Registry stores the container images each deploy runs.
    • Cloud Scheduler wakes the app for background work (see below).
    • Secret Manager holds the API's credentials. Their values never appear in Property360.
    • Cloud Storage stores uploaded documents, receipts, invoice PDFs and property photos. Files are private and served only through the app.
    • Logs Explorer shows server logs for diagnosing errors.
  • Scheduled jobs — the Cloud Scheduler jobs, read live when the server can reach Cloud Scheduler: each job's run time in India time, whether it is enabled, whether its last run succeeded, when it runs next, what it does, what it depends on, and a Related settings link.
  • Billing & cost — links to the billing overview, cost reports and budget alerts.

Settings versus Cloud Scheduler

Two places control background work, and each controls one thing:

  • Settings decide what runs and on which day. For example, the GST invoice day in Settings → General → Automated Communications, or the electricity fetch day in Settings → Data sources → Electricity bills.
  • Cloud Scheduler decides only the time of day the app wakes up. Changing a setting never changes a Cloud Scheduler job, and changing a job's time is done in the Google Cloud console.

FAQs

Why does the Scheduled jobs section say "Known schedule (not live)"?

The server could not read Cloud Scheduler (for example, no Google credentials where it is running, or no permission). The section then shows the known schedule and the reason. Open Cloud Scheduler from the button for the current state.

Can I change a job from here?

No. This page only reads. Change what runs and on which day in Settings; change the time of day in the Google Cloud console.

Why can't I see the credit balance?

Google does not expose it to apps. Open Billing overview, and set a Budget alert so you are emailed before any spend.
